SSC MTS

SSC MTS is an exam for making the recruitments for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff in a General Central Service Group "C" Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices, in different States/Union Territories. The Commission proposes to hold a Common Examination for all applicants for posts in different States/UTs.
SSC MTS 2017 Tier 1 Exam was conducted from 16.09.2017 to 31.10.2017. The result of SSC MTS 2016-17 Tier I exam will be announced on 15-01-2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria :

Nationality: The candidate must be Either :
  1. A citizen of India, or
  2. A subject of Nepal, or
  3. A subject of Bhutan, or
  4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit : Candidates age limit should be between 18-25 years as on 01-01-2017 (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-1999).
